Soup With Fresh Greens Recipe
Ingredients
1.2 Itr water
1 onion, finely sliced
3 garlic cloves, sliced
3 tblspn dried shrimps, pounded
1/2 tspn shrimp paste (optional)
2 tspn salt
225g fresh green leaves (watercress, sorrel, spinach or Chinese cabbage)
Directions
Put the water, onion and garlic in a large saucepan and bring to the boil.
Reduce the heat, then add the shrimps, shrimp paste (if used), soy sauce and salt, stirring well.
Add the green leaves.
Boil for 5 minutes, taste and adjust the seasoning.
