Sopa De Fideo Vermicelli Recipe
Ingredients
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm) | |
| Cumin | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Peppercorns | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cooking oil | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vermicelli package | 1 | |
| Whole tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Green bell pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Boiling water | 3 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Grind garlic and spices.
Add a little water; set aside.
Break up vermicelli.
In skillet on low heat, add oil and vermicelli; fry until golden brown.
Add spices, tomatoes, bell pepper, salt, and boiling water; simmer 15-20 minutes.
1 1/2 cups white rice may be substituted for vermicelli.
