Sooji Jo Halwo Recipe
Sooji jo halwo or suji ka halwa is a delicious indian dessert prepared with cooked semolina. Prepared with milk, ghee, saffron and cardamoms for flavor, the suji ka halwa is falvorful and delectable when served hot.
Ingredients
| Semolina | 200 Gram | |
| Ghee | 150 Gram | |
| Cardamoms | 10 Gram, powdered | |
| Sugar | 200 Gram | |
| 1-2 strands saffron | ||
| Saffron | 15 Milliliter | |
| A few almonds for garnish | ||
Directions
Heat ghee in a non-stick pan over low flame.
Add semolina and the powdered cardamom while stirring continuously till it turns light brown.
Add hot water and sugar and cook till the ghee comes up.
Remove from heat and mix with the soaked saffron.
Garnish with blanched, peeled and sliced almonds.
