Sooji And Vegetable Upma Recipe
Ingredients
| Semolina | 450 Gram | |
| Sprouted 225 gm. | ||
| Green gram (60 gm. before sprouting) | ||
| Carrots | 115 Gram | |
| Green chillies 6(20 gm.) | ||
| Ginger | 5 Gram | |
| Coriander leaves | 1 Bunch (100gm) | |
| Coconut | 115 Gram | |
| Lime | 1 | |
| Bengal Gram | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Black gram | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Mustard seeds | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Asafoetida a pinch | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Sugar a pinch | ||
| Oil | 150 Milliliter | |
Directions
1. Prepare vegetables. Heat 100 ml. of oil.
2. Add Bengal gram, black gram, mustard seeds, curry leaves and asafoetida.
3. Add chopped carrots and sprouted gram. Saute.
4. Add chopped green spices and salt and stir well. Add water to vegetables and bring to boil.
5. Meanwhile heat remaining oil and lightly fry semolina.
6. Add semolina to vegetables.
7. Stir and keep on a slow fire till cooked and dry.
8. Add lime juice, sugar and grated coconut. Mix well.
9. Remove from fire and serve hot.
