Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soft bread crumbs | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Packed brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cloves | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Suet | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Nuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Evaporated milk | 1 5 1/3 Ounce | |
| 1/2 cup light molasses | ||
| Raisins | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sweetened whipped cream | ||
Directions
In mixing bowl, combine flour, bread crumbs, brown sugar, soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
Stir in suet and nuts.
Stir in milk, molasses, and raisins.
Mix well.
With moistened hands, shape dough into 1/3 cup balls.
Tie balls individually in cheesecloth.
Meanwhile, heat 2 quarts water in 4-quart bowl at HIGH for 20 minutes or till boiling.
Drop pudding balls into simmering water.
Cook, covered, at MEDIUM (5) for 13 to 15 minutes.
Remove cheesecloth.
Stir in suet and nuts.
Stir in milk, molasses, and raisins.
Mix well.
