Directions

GETTING READY
1. Assemble a solar cooker. A used parabolic satellite dish covered with reflective aluminium tape is made into a make shift solar cooker reflector. A normal dark metal pan with a glass lid is used as the cooking vessel here.

MAKING
2. Pour the chicken broth, butter and salt in the pan and let it come to a boil. This takes about 35 minutes.
3. Add the couscous grains.
4. Remove the pan from the heat and let is stand for 5 minutes.

SERVING
5. Fluff the couscous with a fork and serve.
