Soft-cooked Eggs Recipe

| Cold or lukewarm water | 6 Cup (96 tbs) (as required) |
Directions
Cover tops of eggs with water by at least 1 /4 inch.
Cover pan.
Heat rapidly until water boils; turn off heat, and, if necessary, set pan aside to prevent further boiling.
Let stand, covered, for following time periods: * For very soft-cooked eggs, about 2 minutes * For medium soft-cooked eggs, 3â€â€3 1/2 minutes * For firmer soft-cooked eggs, about 4 minutes
