Soda Cracker Cake Recipe

Ingredients
4 Egg Yolks
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Chopped Walnuts
1 Tsp. Vanilla
2 Tbs. Melted Butter
1 Cup Crushed Soda Crackers, salted
4 Egg Whites, beaten
1 Cup Raspberry Jam
1 Pkg. Macaroons
1 Cup Cream, whipped
Powdered Sugar
Flavoring
Directions
Add sugar to beaten yolks.
Add chopped nuts, vanilla, butter and crackers.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Pour into two 9 inch pans, lined with wax paper that has been greased.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 325 degrees.
Cool.
Then spread bottom layer with 14 cup of the jam, cover with macaroons that have been dipped in water.
Repeat with top layer.
Cover with whipped cream flavored with rum if desired.
