Sod Buster Meat Loaf Recipe
This sod buster meatloaf is prepared with a round cut of ground meat. Combined with vegetables and flavored with tomato sauce, the sod buster meatloaf is heavy and filling.
Ingredients
1 lb. ground round
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. finely chopped onion
2 c. diced potatoes
1 c. finely chopped green bell pepper
1 c. bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. black pepper
4 eggs, whipped
Directions
Mix all ingredients well in mixingbowl.
Shape into a loaf in casserole dish.
Bake in 320° oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until top is brown.
Brush top with tomato sauce while baking several times.
