Snowy Icing Recipe
This Snowy Icing can make any bland cake r desserts taste simple awesome. Using very basic ingredients and made in just about no time, this Snowy Icing is a must try for all, be it experts or greenhorns!
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Few grains salt | ||
| Egg white | 1 | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Mix the sugar, water, and salt in a small saucepan; stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Cook without stirring until mixture spins a 2-inch thread (about 230°F) when a small amount is dropped from a spoon.
Beat egg white until stiff, not dry, peaks are formed.
Continue beating egg white while pouring hot syrup over it in a steady thin stream.
After all the syrup is added, continue beating until icing is very thick and forms rounded peaks (holds shape).
Blend in extract.
