Snowballs Recipe
Ingredients
2 eggs .
1 eggshell of water (about 3 tablespoons)
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups sifted flour
Fat for deep frying
Confectioners' sugar
Directions
In a large bowl beat eggs, water, and salt with a fork.
Add flour gradually until dough is sticky.
Knead gently on a floured board until dough can be easily handled.
Divide dough into 4 round balls; let stand 1 hour.
Roll out dough as thin as you can.
Let stand rolled out 30 minutes or until dry.
Cut dough into 3 inch squares or triangles (or some of each).
Heat fat in deep skillet; drop snowballs into hot fat.
They cook quickly.
When golden brown, remove from fat; drain on paper towels.
Sprinkle them liberally with confectioners' sugar.
