Snowballs Recipe
I am sure you will not have a better recipe to compare with this Snowballs recipe? This Snowballs makes a compelling Dessert for most party meals. The goodness of Fruits makes Snowballs a great treat. I would really appreciate a feedback on this recipe of Snowballs. Thank You.
Ingredients
Pastry for a 2 crust pie
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon
6 large apples
1 teaspoon allspice
Orange marmalade
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup soft butter
Hard Sauce
Directions
Prepare pastry and roll out thin on a floured board.
Cut into 6 squares large enough to cover the apples.
Pare apples, leave whole, but remove the core.
Fill each cavity with orange marmalade.
Make a smooth paste of butter, brown sugar, and the three spices.
Spread this paste over each apple.
Wrap apples in pastry squares, pricking surface here and there with a fork.
Bake in a preheated 425° oven for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 °, and continue baking 40 to 45 minutes.
