Snowball Dainties Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cake flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Mint package | 1 , flavored | |
| 1/2 cup candied red cherries, halved | ||
| Pecans | 1 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Powdered sugar | ||
Directions
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy in large bowl.
Add water and vanilla extract; beat well.
Stir in dry ingredients, then chocolate morsels and cherries.
Chill about 1 hour.
Shape into 1 -inch balls; roll in nuts.
Place balls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 300° for 30 minutes.
Roll baked cookies in powdered sugar while warm.
