Snappy Cheese Wiches Recipe
Ingredients
| English muffins | 4 | |
| Sharp cheese - 1/2 pound, grated | ||
| Onion salt - 1/2 teaspoon | ||
| Nutmeg | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Allspice | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Cayenne | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Prepared mustard | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Horseradish | 1 Teaspoon, powdered | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Mayonnaise or salad dressing - 1/4 cup | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the broiler.
MAKING
2) Place the muffins under a broiler, until the cut sides are lightly browned.
3) In a bowl, combine rest of the ingredients, mix thoroughly.
4) Spread the mixture over toasted side of the muffins.
5) Place 4 inches from heat and broil for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
SERVING
6) Serve the Snappy Cheese Wiches immediately on a serving platter.
