Snapper in Orange Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Snapper fillets or other firm-fleshed moist fish, such as flounder, pompano, croaker -3/4 pound | ||
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Pepper white | 1 To taste | |
| Orange juice | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Orange rind | 1 1/2 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1)Turn oven to broil.
MAKING
2)Use a foil-lined shallow baking dish and place fillets in it.
3)Season fish with salt and pepper.
4)Grate orange rind and squeeze juice.
5)Heat orange juice and rind and butter in small pan until butter is melted.
6)Spoon some of sauce over fillets.
7)Broil fillets 2 inches from heat.
8)Baste once or twice with orange mixture and broil 8 to 10 minutes, until fish flakes easily with fork.
SERVING
9)Serve it hot.
