Snails In Wine Recipe
Ingredients
| Dry white wine | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 teaspoon chopped shallot or onion | ||
| 6 dozen canned snails and shells | ||
| Snail butter | ||
Directions
1. Boil the wine with the shallot until reduced by one-half. Strain.
2. Add a little wine to each shell, insert a snail and cover the opening with snail butter. Bake in a preheated hot oven (450° F.) ten minutes.
