Ingredients
| Cooking oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Okra | 2 Pound, sliced | |
| Onion | 1 Large, chopped | |
| Tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire Sauce- 1 or 2 tablespoons | ||
| Ground Cloves- to taste | ||
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Pepper | 1 To taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a pot, heat oil over low heat and sauté okra, stirring and scraping the bottom of the pot continuously.
2) Stir the okra until turns pink and the sliminess disappears.
3) Stir in onions and tomatoes, and cook until almost dry, mashing the tomatoes while cooking.
4) Season to taste, and add lemon juice, sugar, clove and Worcestershire sauce.
5) Cook for 3 minutes more to blend in the flavours.
SERVING
6) Serve hot with warm slices of bread.
