Smoked Trout Spread Recipe

Ingredients
8 oz filleted and boned smoked trout (1 1/2 or 2 small whole trout) 250 g
1 cup yogurt cheese or lightricotta cheese, well drained 250 mL
1 tbsp grated white horseradish 15 mL
2 tbsp lemon juice 25 mL
2 tbsp chopped fresh dill 25 mL
2 tbsp chopped fresh chives or green onions 25 mL
1/2 tsp pepper 2 mL
Salt to taste
Directions
Remove and discard as many bones from trout as possible.
Break up fillets and chop in food processor or with knife.
Blend in yogurt cheese, horseradish and lemon juice.
Stir in dill, chives and pepper.
Taste and season with salt if necessary.
