Smoked Tongue Rarebit Recipe
Ingredients
| Tongue slices | 12 (cooked) | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Paprika | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cheddar cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1⁄2 Teaspoon |
Directions
"Cut tongue into 3-inch strips.
Melt butter in saucepan; stir in flour, paprika and mustard.
Add milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add cheese; simmer, stirring, until cheese is melted.
Add Worcestershire sauce; fold in tongue.
Simmer until heated through.
Serve over rice.
