Ingredients

 Butt3 Pound, smoked
 1 qt. green beans, washed and broken into 1 in. pieces
 6 potatoes, washed, pared and quartered
 Salt2 Teaspoon
 Black pepper1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

Cover smoked shoulder roll with water and simmer 2 1/2 hours.
Add the beans and cook about 10 minutes.
Add the potatoes and cook about 25 minutes, or until beans and potatoes are tender.
