1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
 
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion

8 slices pumpernickel or dark bread

Directions

Blend together the mayonnaise or salad dressing, onion, parsley, and lemon juice.
Spread on bread; place salmon on 4 slices bread.
Top with remaining bread.
