Smoked Oyster Mousse Recipe

4 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1 cup water
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese
2 cups mayonnaise
4 (3.6-ounce) cans smoked oysters, drained and minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder Dash of hot sauce Cranberries (optional) Fresh parsley sprigs (optional) Spiced crabapples (optional)
Directions
Soften gelatin in water; set aside.
Combine cream cheese and mayonnaise in a heavy saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring until cream cheese melts and mixture is smooth.
Add gelatin mixture and next 5 ingredients to saucepan; stir until smooth.
Pour mixture into a well-oiled 6-cup mold.
Cover and refrigerate several hours or until set.
Garnish with cranberries, parsley, and crabapples, if desired.
Serve with crackers.
