Place the turkey in a roaster, cover and bake for 1 hour in a preheated 350°F (180°C) oven.
Remove, slice and reserve hot.
While the turkey is roasting combine the remaining ingredients except the cornstarch in a food processor, process into a puree.
Transfer to a sauce pan and simmer gently for 1 hour.
Mix the cornstarch with 2 tbsp (30 ml) of cold water.
Add to sauce and simmer until sauce thickens.
Place turkey on a serving platter, pour the sauce over the turkey and serve.
