Smoked Salmon Spread Recipe
Ingredients
6 ounces Neufchatel cream cheese, softened
4 ounces smoked salmon, diced
2 tablespoons reduced-fat sour cream
2 to 3 teaspoons fresh lemonjuice, ortotaste
1/8 teaspoon each salt and white pepper, or to taste
Optional garnishes:
Reduced-fat sour cream
Sprigs fresh dill
Directions
1 In a food processor or blender, whirl the cream cheese, salmon, sourcream, 2 teaspoons of the lemon juice, the salt, and pepper for 30 to 45 seconds or until smooth.
Taste and add more lemon juice, salt, orpepperifyou like.
2 Transferee spread to a small serving bowl, cover, and chill for 2 hours or over night.
Before serving, garnish with the sourcream and dill if desired.
