 Smoked Mackerel - 2 medium
 Sour cream5 Fluid Ounce
 Cottage cheese4 Ounce
 Nutmeg - a pinch
 Lemon Juice1 Tablespoon
 Salt To Taste
 Lemon 1 , cut into wedges
 Watercress - I bunch
 Cayenne pepper2 Pinch (For Garnish)

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Using a sharp knife skin the mackerel, removing the flesh off the bones (if filleted already, simple scrape off flesh)

MAKING
2) Into a blender, add the fish and pulse to flake it
3) Then add the cottage cheese and lemon juice and sour cream and blend till smooth
4) Stir the mixture to blend evenly
5) Put the mixture into a bowl
6) Add salt, pepper, nutmeg (and lemon juice if required only)
7) Into individual ramekins, pack the fish pate, cover with foil and refrigerate for at least 2 hours

SERVING
8) Remove the foil, sprinkle cayenne pepper
9) Serve with watercress and lemon wedges with some buttered toast
