Smoked Mackerel Pate Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 large smoked mackerel, skinned and boned | ||
| 275 g. / 10 oz. butter, softened | ||
| 75 g. / 3 oz. cream cheese | ||
| 25 ml. / 1 fl. oz. lemon juice | ||
| Watercress sprigs to garnish | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Mash the mackerel and butter together with a fork, then mix in the cheese and lemon juice.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Chill, then garnish with the watercress sprigs.
