Smoked Fish With Horseradish Cream Recipe
Ingredients
| Whipping cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Horseradish | 4 Tablespoon, grated | |
| White vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper white | 1 | |
| 1 teaspoon chopped chives, dill or parsley or a combination | ||
| 1 lb. smoked trout, sturgeon, salmon or other smoked fish, thinly sliced | ||
| Pumpernickel or other dark bread, thinly sliced | ||
| Unsalted butter | 1 To taste | |
Directions
In a medium bowl, whip cream and sugar until soft peaks form.
Fold in horseradish and vinegar.
Add salt and white pepper to taste.
Spoon into a small serving bowl.
Sprinkle with chives, dill, parsley or combination.
Arrange sliced fish and bread on a platter.
Let guests butter bread and top with smoked fish.
