Smoked Eggs Recipe
Ingredients
| 8 medium-size eggs | ||
| Liquid smoke | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dark soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Sesame oil | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Place eggs in saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil, reduce heat to medium and simmer eggs for about 4-5 minutes. Drain eggs and cover with cold water to cool.
2. Carefully peel eggs and set aside.
3. Combine the smoking mixture in a saucepan and heat over medium-low heat for 1 1/2-2 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
4. Add eggs to smoking mixture. Let stand for 1 1/2 hours, turning frequently to coat well.
