| Prepared mustard | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1⁄4 Teaspoon |

Directions
Combine all ingredients except smelts.
Marinate smelts in tomato mixture, covered, in refrigerator several hours.
In large skillet bring smelts and tomato mixture to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, till fish are done, 8 to 10 minutes.
