Small Pickled-Whole Beets Recipe
Ingredients
| 5 lbs. whole cooked beets | ||
| Vinegar | 3 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 tsp.whole allspice | ||
| 1 3-in.stick cinnamon | ||
Directions
Cook small beets untiltender and rub off skins.
In large kettle simmer remaining ingredients together for 15 minutes, add beets, and cook 5 minutes longer.
Pack beets into hot sterilized jars, cover with syrup, and seal at once.
Process 10 minutes in boiling water bath.
