Small Ground Beef Timbales Recipe
Of all the courses Side Dish happens to be my favorite and Small Ground Beef Timbales the recipe that represents it. This Small Ground Beef Timbales is a perfect Side Dish. I am certain both of us will be in agreement that this Small Ground Beef Timbales is truly delectable.
Ingredients
1 lb (500 g) ground beef, quite lean
1/2 cup (125 mL) light cream
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 cup (125 mL) quick-cooking rolled oats
2 tbsp (30 mL) celery, chopped fine
4 green onions, chopped fine
4 soda crackers, crushed
1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper
1/2 tsp (2 mL) thyme or tarragon
Directions
Mix all the ingredients together in a glass bowl (Pyrex) with your finger tips.
Divide evenly into 6 to 8 buttered 6-oz (170 g) molds.
Set in a circular pattern in the oven.
Cover all with waxed paper or individually with plastic wrap.
Microwave 5 minutes at HIGH.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Unmold in a hot dish or indi-vidually on warm plates and cover with a Timbale Mushroom Sauce.
