2 cups vanilla spongecake or cocoa spongecake, diced
 
2 cups apple sauce
 
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
 
2 cups light cream
 
24 ladyfingers
 
1 cup Chantilty cream
 
1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Directions

In successive layers, divide diced spongecake, apple sauce, cinnamon and light cream among 8 molds or dessert cups.
Cut ladyfingers in half.
Line 6 ladyfingers against sides of each cup, rounded tip up.
Using a pastry bag with a medium size fluted nozzle, pipe a swirl of Chantilly cream onto each charlotte.
Sprinkle with 1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped nuts.
