Ingredients
1/3 cup flour
6 cube steaks, or 1 1/2 pounds round steak cut in 6 pieces
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 large onion, sliced, separated into rings
3 cups water
1 envelope brown gravy mix
1 envelope mushroom gravy mix
1 envelope onion gravy mix
Directions
Place the flour in a large sealable plastic bag.
Place the steaks in the bag, a few at a time, and shake until completely coated.
Brown the steaks in vegetable oil in a skillet.
Remove to a slow cooker.
Add the onion and 2 cups of the water.
Cook on Low for 8 hours or until meat is tender.
Whisk together the gravy mixes and the remaining 1 cup of water in a bowl.
Add the gravy mixture to the steak mixture.
Cook for 30 minutes longer or until slightly thickened.
Serve over mashed potatoes or cooked noodles
