Slow Cooked Sage Dressing Recipe
Ingredients
| 14 to 15 cups day-old bread cubes | ||
| Celery | 3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Sage | 1/2 Teaspoon, rubbed | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), melted | |
Directions
In a large bowl, combine bread, celery, onion, sage, salt and pepper; mix well.
Add butter and toss.
Spoon into a 5-qt.slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, stirring once.
