Sloppy Joe Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 13 3/4-oz. package hot roll mix | ||
| Ground beef | 1 Pound | |
| Prepared mustard | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Tomato Paste | 1 6 Ounce | |
| 1 1 1/2-oz. envelope seasoning mix for Sloppy Joes | ||
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Grated Parmesan cheese | ||
| Leaf oregano to taste | ||
| Mozzarella cheese | 6 Ounce, sliced | |
Directions
Prepare the hot roll mix for pizza dough according to package directions, using 1 cup warm water.
Set aside.
Mix the beef, mustard, egg and salt together.
Blend the tomato paste, seasoning mix and water together in a small bowl.
Pat or roll pizza dough to fit a greased 15 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan.
Spread top of dough with beef mixture, then with the tomato paste mixture.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and oregano.
Bake in a 450-degree oven for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and cut into 12 squares.
Place a slice of mozzarella cheese on each square and garnish with sliced stuffed olives, if desired.
Return to oven for about 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
