 6 large tomatoes, or 8 if they are smaller, thickly sliced ground ginger
 Sugar
 Basil leaves4

 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Arrange the tomato slices in a shallow dish and sprinkle a little ginger, sugar and seasoning over each slice.
Strew the surface with basil leaves.
