Sliced Bread Sandwich Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatine | ||
| Cold water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mayonnaise | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salmon | 1 Can (10oz), drained, flaked | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Chopped | 1 , chopped | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 18 slices enriched white bread | ||
| 1 tube anchovy paste | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. Add gelatin to cold water and soften it. Place softened gelatin on hot water and allow to dissolve. Add 1 cup mayonnaise and stir well. Keep aside to thicken.
2. Prepare a mixture of 1.2 cup mayonnaise with salmon, pimiento, parsley, lemon juice and pepper.
3. Use the salmon spread and 18 bread slices for preparing 6 three-decker sandwiches.
4. Arrange in a tray, frost with mayonnaise mixture to form a single loaf. Refrigerate to set mayonnaise icing.
SERVING
5. Using anchovy paste, mark individual portions and serve.
