Ingredients
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup each sliced onion, sliced carrot, and thinly sliced green bell pepper
1 small garlic clove, minced, or 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup shredded green cabbage
6 ounces frankfurters, cut crosswise into 1/4-inch-thick slices
1/4 cup canned chicken broth
1 teaspoon each soy sauce and cornstarch
Directions
In 9- or 10-inch nonstick skillet heat oil; add onion, carrot, green pepper, and garlic (or garlic powder) and saute until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
Stir in cabbage.
Reduce heat, cover, and cook, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is soft, about 10 minutes.
Add frankfurters and cook, uncovered, until thoroughly heated.
In measuring cup combine broth, soy sauce, and cornstarch, stirring to dissolve cornstarch; pour over frankfurter mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
