Skillet Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
1 15 3/8-ounce package cheese pizza mix
1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning Mix
1/2 pound bulk pork sausage or Italian sausage
1/2 cup sliced pitted ripe olives
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (6 ounces)
Directions
In a bowl blend flour packet from mix with 1/2 cup hot water to form a soft-dough.
With greased hands spread dough into a greased cold heavy 10-inch skillet.
Press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides.
Cook over medium-low heat 7 minutes with lid of skillet ajar.
Meanwhile, combine sauce from mix and Italian Seasoning.
In another skillet brown sausage; drain.
Stir in half of the sauce mixture.
Remove skillet with crust from heat; spread remaining sauce mixture atop.
Sprinkle with cheese from mix.
Top with sausage mixture and olives.
Sprinkle with mozzarella.
Cook over medium-low heat with lid ajar 15 minutes more.
Uncover; cook 6 to 8 minutes.
Loosen sides and bottom of pizza.
Slide onto plate.
