Skillet Burgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Fat | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Celery | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Seasoned tomato sauce | 1 8 Ounce | |
| Tomato soup | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Few drops Tabasco sauce | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Monosodium glutamate | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| 5 or 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted | ||
Directions
Brown meat in hot fat.
Add onion and celery; cook till tender but not brown.
Add tomato sauce, soup, and seasonings.
Simmer uncovered about 20 minutes or until the consistency you like.
Spoon mixture into toasted buns.
