Ingredients

 Boneless pork1 Pound
 1 lb. boneless veal rump
 Olive oil1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Basil1 Tablespoon, finely chopped
 Oregano1 Teaspoon, crushed
 1/2 tsp. crushed dried hot chilies
 Water1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Cut the meat into small thin slices.
Thread the slices onto six skewers, alternating pork and veal.
Pour the oil into a small roasting pan, and brown the skewered meat in the oil over high heat.
Sprinkle all of the seasonings over the skewers, add the water to the pan, cover and cook for 45 minutes in a preheated 325° F. [170° C] oven.
