Ingredients
4 large shelled shrimp
Sauce
1 tablespoon (or less) salt
4 tablespoons soy sauce
3/4 tablespoon rice wine or sherry
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
Asparagus tips
Directions
Cut shrimp into bite-size pieces.
Make a sauce by blending together the salt, soy sauce, rice wine (sake) or sherry, and ginger.
Dip shrimp into sauce; place on skewers.
Dip the asparagus tips into the sauce, then place on skewers.
Broil in oven, basting with sauce; or grill, or use hibachi.
