Sirloin Steaks with Bananas Recipe

Directions
Pound the sirloin steaks very thin.
Heat the oil in the frying pan and lightly brown the onion for 2 minutes; then push to one side of the frying pan.
Put in the steaks and fry on each side for 2-3 minutes, or longer, according to taste.
Push to one side.
Stir the mustard and curry powder into the oil in the pan and add the banana.
Pour on the port and vodka, carefully set alight and allow almost to go out.
Add the salt, white sauce, Worcestershire sauce and cream and stir into the pan juices.
Finally melt the butter in the sauce and spoon over the steak and onion.
Serve immediately on warmed plates.
Accompany with potatoes and celery salad, if liked.
