Ingredients
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, at room temperature
1 teaspoon anchovy paste
1 sirloin steak cut 1 inch thick
Freshly ground pepper
1 can (2 oz.) anchovy fillets, drained
1/2 cup pimento-stuffed olives, halved
Directions
Combine butter and anchovy paste; set aside.
Place steak on lightly greased grill 4 to 6 inches above a solid bed of glowing coals.
Cook, turning once, for 6 to 8 minutes on each side for rare or until done to your liking when slashed.
Transfer steak to serving platter, sprinkle with ground pepper, and arrange anchovies in a crisscross pattern over top.
Arrange olive halves in each open square.
