Simplified Lahmajoun Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 - 8 Oz. Pkg. Refrigerated Biscuits | ||
| Ground beef | 1/4 Pound (Beef Filling:) | |
| 3 Chopped Green Onions | ||
| Parsley | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (Beef Filling:) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon (Beef Filling:) | |
| Oregano | 1/2 Teaspoon (Beef Filling:) | |
| Tomato sauce | 1/2 Can (10oz) (Beef Filling:) | |
| 1 Cup Shredded Jack Cheese | ||
| Lean ground lamb | 1 1/2 Pound (Lamb Filling:) | |
| 3 Chopped Green Onions | ||
| Chopped | 2 Tablespoon, dried (Lamb Filling:) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon (Lamb Filling:) | |
| Tomato sauce | 1/2 Can (10oz) (Lamb Filling:) | |
| 1 Cup Grated Jack Cheese | ||
Directions
Roll out each biscuit on a lightly-floured board to a thin round about 5" in diameter.
Arrange rounds slightly apart on two large, greased baking sheets.
Divide filling into 10 portions; spread evenly over surface of each biscuit.
Be sure to spread the meat clear to the edge of the biscuit as the meat will shrink while baking.
Sprinkle cheese over the meat.
Bake in 450 degree oven for 10 to 12 min or until meat is cooked and biscuits are crisp.
