Ingredients

 1 chicken weighing about 700 gm cleaned and jointed
 Oil3 Tablespoon
 Onions3 , sliced
 Curds100 Gram
 3-4 tablespoons cream or top of the milk
 Green cardamoms5 Pound, pounded
 Garlic7 Clove (5gm)
 25 cashews, ground into a paste
 1-2 green chillies, deseeded and chopped
 Juice of 1 lime
 Coriander1 Tablespoon, chopped
 Salt To Taste

Directions

1 Heat the oil. Fry onions till a golden brown.
2 Meanwhile, lightly beat together the curds and cream. Mix into it all the except the lime juice and coriander.
3 When the onions have browned, turn the chicken into the pan on the fire. Cover and cook on a slow fire till tender and the curry is the consistency you desire. It should be a thickish gravy and the chicken will take between 30-45 minutes to cook, depending on its quality.
4 Just before serving, stir in the lime juice and garnish with the coriander.
