Simple Exotic Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 chicken weighing about 700 gm cleaned and jointed | ||
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 3 , sliced | |
| Curds | 100 Gram | |
| 3-4 tablespoons cream or top of the milk | ||
| Green cardamoms | 5 Pound, pounded | |
| Garlic | 7 Clove (5gm) | |
| 25 cashews, ground into a paste | ||
| 1-2 green chillies, deseeded and chopped | ||
| Juice of 1 lime | ||
| Coriander | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
1 Heat the oil. Fry onions till a golden brown.
2 Meanwhile, lightly beat together the curds and cream. Mix into it all the except the lime juice and coriander.
3 When the onions have browned, turn the chicken into the pan on the fire. Cover and cook on a slow fire till tender and the curry is the consistency you desire. It should be a thickish gravy and the chicken will take between 30-45 minutes to cook, depending on its quality.
4 Just before serving, stir in the lime juice and garnish with the coriander.
