Simple Pasta Salad for Potlucks Recipe Video

| Macaroni | 4 Ounce (Wagon Wheel Or Desired Pasta, 1 1/3 Cup) | |
| Corkscrew pasta | 4 Ounce (Tri-Colored Or Desired Pasta) | |
| Crushed red pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sweet red pepper | 1 Medium, cut into thin strips | |
| Yellow squash/Zucchini | 1 Medium, halved, sliced lengthwise | |
| Thawed frozen peas/1 ½ cups cooked / cooled fresh peas | 10 Ounce | |
| Drained black olives | 6 Ounce, pitted | |
| Cubed cheddar cheese | 4 Ounce, smoked | |
| Unblanched almonds | 1 Cup (16 tbs), toasted | |
| Sliced green onion | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Snipped fresh tarragon/Oregano / basil / dill | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Italian salad dressing | 8 Ounce |

Directions
1) Cook pasta according to package directions except add crushed red pepper to the cooking water.
2) Rinse with cool water and drain thoroughly.
3) Cool pasta to room temperature.
MAKING
4) In a large mixing bowl combine pasta, sweet red pepper, yellow squash or zucchini, peas, olives, cheese, almonds, green onions and herb.
5) Add dressing to pasta mixture. Toss gently to mix.
6) Cover and chill for 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
SERVING
7) Serve the dish in a serving plate.
