Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 square unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 8-inch baked pie shell
Directions
Cream butter.
Add sugar gradually and cream well.
Blend in chocolate and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time, and beat 5 minutes with a rotary beater after each addition.
Turn into baked pie shell and chill 1 to 2 hours before serving.
Top with whipped cream before serving if desired.
