Shrimps Victoria Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound raw shrimps | ||
| Shallots | 2 Tablespoon, minced | |
| 1/4 cup butter or margarine, or more | ||
| Mushrooms | 1/2 pound | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| Sherry | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Dairy sour cream | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Shell and clean the shrimps, and saute them, along with the minced shallots, in the butter until shrimps are pink.
Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes, adding another tablespoon butter if needed.
Sprinkle with the flour, salt, and some freshly ground pepper.
Add sherry and sour cream and correct seasonings.
Cook gently until hot and serve with wild rice if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
