Shrimp Southern Style Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup dry white wine
3 cups shrimp
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
1 tablespoon capers, chopped
1clove garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon grated onion
Salt and pepper
2 cups celery, chopped
1 cup cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped
Lettuce leaves
Paprika
Directions
Pour wine over shrimp (chop shrimp if large) cover and chill for at least 2 hours, turning occasionally.
Mix mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, parsley, capers, garlic and onion, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Drain the shrimp and add them with the celery and cucumber to the mayonnaise mixture.
Serve on lettuce leaves and sprinkle with paprika.
